Micas are non-toxic occurring naturally from the minerals muscovite and silicate. Mica if smaller than 20 microns, gives a satiny appearance while large micas provide a sparkly effect. Micas are then coated with various oxides, carmine and titanium dioxide to give a full range of colours. .
Our lip-safe mica's are a wonderful way to add colour, shine, and sparkle to your soaps, shampoos, lip balms, lipsticks, lotions, creams, and mineral make up. Our Mica adds shine to products. The Satin Pearl mica is used in our mineral makeup.
